Privacy statement

1. Controller

Medflix B.V. is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement. You can direct questions to info@medflix.nl.

2. What data we process

We process data of users who register, use the platform, want accreditation points to be credited or contact our customer service, including:

• Name, initials, gender and title
• BIG number, AGB code or quality registration number
• Email address, telephone number and address
• Profession and specialty
• Login details and usage activity on the platform

3. Purpose of processing

Data is used for access to the platform, processing of accreditation, payments via Mollie, service communication, improvement of the platform and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

We process data on the basis of performance of the contract, consent given, a legal obligation or our legitimate interest (such as security and customer service).

5. Sharing with third parties

Data is only shared when necessary, for example with accrediting bodies to credit points, or with processors such as hosting providers with whom a data processing agreement has been concluded.

6. Retention period

Data is not kept longer than necessary. Account data is deleted or anonymised no later than 24 months after the subscription ends, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

8. Cookies

Medflix only uses functional and analytical cookies to make the platform work and to improve it. No tracking cookies are used. See our cookie policy for more details.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can submit requests via info@medflix.nl; we respond within four weeks.
